Strengthening skills to achieve better outcomes when treating peripheral arterial disease (PAD).

Dr. Scott Sanders recently attended the Philips Project PAD Applied Skills Training in Massachusetts. It was a two-day hands-on intensive training to strengthen skills using intravascular ultrasound (ultrasound inside of the artery/vein) and laser atherectomy (using a laser to remove plaque from the artery) to achieve better outcomes when treating peripheral arterial disease (PAD).
