Welcome to the PVI Team!

Our team of professionals is here to make you comfortable and provide the best care possible.  Paducah Vascular Institute is a place where patients will be seen for arterial and vein disorders, as well as patients who require dialysis access/maintenance, and venous access procedures.  Patients can be treated medically, surgically, or with minimally invasive (endovascular) techniques. Many of these minimally invasive procedures can be done in the office without the need to go to the hospital. These procedures can be safely performed in the office with local anesthesia or moderate sedation administered by a trained anesthetist.

Dr. Scott Sanders, MD.

Paducah Vascular Institute was founded by Scott Sanders, MD in 2021.  Dr. Sanders finished his vascular/endovascular surgical training in 2000 at the Arizona Heart Institute in Phoenix, Arizona.  He was trained by the world renowned surgeon Ted Diethrich, MD. Over the last 20 plus years, Dr. Sanders has supervised surgical residents at a level one trauma center, taught medical students in vascular surgery, and even helped train other cardiologists and vascular surgeons learn new endovascular procedures.  He has been an employed physician in Paducah since 2010, and helped countless patients with life and limb threatening arterial and vein disorders. In 2021, he decided to open the first vascular institute in the region. Dr. Sanders' goal is to bring his years of experience to provide state of the art, patient centered, vascular care, often in an office based setting.
